eclipse-xsd software package provides XML Schema Definition (XSD) for Eclipse, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install eclipse-xsd
eclipse-xsd is installed in your system.
Make ensure the eclipse-xsd package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep eclipse-xsd *
You will get with eclipse-xsd package name, version, architecture and description in a table
